This entry is specially dedicated to my older brother. To show him we go to the countryside from time to time :)

We went to an excursion last thursday. Although our tarjet was Cotos, and then walking to the Peñalara lake, we had an unexpected stop in San Ildefonso to have a coffee. As we are city guys, we can not get our bearings anymore, not even qith a GPS, so we let away the road to Rascafría, so we went down all the mountain we had gone up again. At least the ride was nice, through the forest, with pine smell...

Está vallada. for the last time.
/ But at last we did it. Once we were there, we took the PR3 walk, which is really simple and takes you to the lake (which nowadays is more a puddle than a lake). It was at least twelve years that I was there. Now everything is enclosed and sealed, because they are trying to recover natural lands. You are not even aloud to get close to the lake. It is fenced.
